Features and Benefits |
This +27dBm (500mW)
TurboTenna 011XT Pen Booster i s
a High Performance RF amplifier with a right-angled neck design. The
neck stretches out to the
RP-SMA RF
connector for direct replacement of your Rubber Duck antenna. If your
wireless router uses a
RP-TNC Rubber Duck such as the Linksys WRT54GS and WAP54G, you could
use the
SMA-TNC RF adapter for conversion.
The
RP-SMA and
RP-TNC RF
connectors are able to cover most of the 802.11b/g wireless routers and
PCI wireless adapter for direct physical connection. If you need
something else such as the MC Card, MMCX, RP-MMCX, MCX, etc., you'll
need the
Universal Antenna Adapter Box and a
matching pigtail
to make the connection.
The
package comes with a 2dBi Rubber Duck. It can be replaced by more
powerful directional antennae such as the
Omni,
TurboTenna 007GT waveguide
booster and the
Yagi to meet your coverage and range extension requirements.
TurboTenna 011XTS Pen Booster is the straight neck
alternative also having a gain of +27dBm at 500mW.

Design Highlights |
- The TurboTenna
011XT Amplifier Booster is designed to enhance the
coverage, stability and speed of WiFi connection by using the Time
Division Multiplex technology for high power output.
- Compatible with both 802.11b and
802.11g wireless networks
- Linear and High power MMIC
amplifier with advanced Gallium Arsenide Heterojunction Bipolar
Transistor (HBT) is incorporated in the electronic circuitry to
ensure low power consumption and high heat dissipation efficiency.
- The TX is rated at a power level
of 500mW or 27dBm at 6.0V DC.
- Low noise RX amplifier is used to
pick up weak signal at optimal Signal-to-Noise Ratio (SNR).
- This unit is designed to operate
properly using a standard 32mW or 100mW radio device such as a
Buffalo access point with adjustable power output.
- Precision engineered for maximum
signal strength and distance.
- When determining total power add
the radio output to the TX amplifier gain and subtract the RF cable
loss between the radio and amplifier. This total should not exceed
500mW or +27dBm.
- Example: A 32mW radio (+15dBm) with a short pigtail
(-1dB) running to the TurboTenna 011XT
amplifier at TX gain gain of 13dB would yield a total power output
of +27dBm at
the antenna port of the amp. You would then add the gain of the
antenna minus any cable loss between the amp and antenna to
determine your effective isotropic radiated power level or EIRP.
