The Range Extender package consists of two TurboTenna 007GT
antennas which is ideal for indoor and outdoor point-to-point range extension.A
typical application is to extend the wireless broadband from your balcony to
the garden and swimming pool.
If your wireless router is at the far corner of your
apartment
and you need WiFi coverage for your working area with one or two concrete
walls in between the transmission path, the WiFi signal could attenuate
pretty rapidly. In this situation you'll need two
TurboTenna 007GT
antennas, one installed
at the access point and another one at the PC WiFi adaptor beaming at
each other. Each TurboTenna 007GT
offers a gain of +12dBi. The signal energy will concentrate in a beam
with an enormous gain equivalent to +12dBi + 12dBi or 24dBi in free
space line-of-sight, resulting an improved signal stability and
connection speed.
In summary:

broadband connection to your ISP;
B-END:
TurboTenna 007GT connects to
your wireless PC adapter using a RF cable.
You may specify the type of termination
connector or the model of your wireless router and wireless PC adaptor when you
place the order to us.
In case your wireless
router equips with
non-detachable antenna, we suggest you to replace it with the Buffalo
WBR2-G54S wireless router. This unit costs
about US$85 and it has adjustable
signal output, WDS (Wireless Distribution System) and
an external antenna option that works perfectly with the TurboTenna 007GT.
Likewise, if your wireless PC adapter does not support an external
antenna, the Buffalo WLI-CB-G54S 802.11g
PCMCIA adapter or the Planet WL-U356A USB2.0
adapter are good choices since they are two of the few wireless adapters
in the market with external antenna option.
